The scheme has been approved by the Govt. of India and it also has the approval of Indian Banks' Association. The scheme titled 'NSIC-ONICRA Performance and Credit Rating Scheme is launched by H'ble Finance Minister on 7^th April 2005.
NSIC-ONICRA rating provides an opinion on the company's operating performance and financial strength.
The Ministry of SSI is providing subsidy of 75% of NSIC-ONICRA rating fees. .
At ONICRA, we continue to emphasize the age old adage that prevention is better that cure. ONICRA Credit Rating Agency of India Limited  pioneered in Individual credit rating in India  has  so far to their credit more that 1,00,000 individual credit ratings  on monthly basis.
